Calzone
Makes a 12-14 inch Calzone

1 pound of Pizza Dough. I use Pizza Buddy Pizza Daugh. Sometimes it’s frozen. Thaw before using.
¼ to 1/3 cup pizza sauce
½ cup diced onion
½ cup mixed colored peppers, diced
1-1.5 cups chopped mushrooms
½ cup Daiya Mozzarella Shreds
Topping:
Vegan Butter and Pizza Seasoning (I use Zap Packs)

I placed a piece of parchment paper on my air fryer tray.

Saute the vegetables. Season with salt & pepper if desired.

Press the thawed dough on the tray forming a 12-14 inch oval.

Spread pizza sauce on half of the dough leaving the outer half inch without sauce so the edges can be sealed later. We will be folding this in half to form a 12 to 14-inch calzone that’s about 6 inches at the widest part.

Spread the vegetables on top of the sauce, then top with vegan cheese.
Place a light coating of water along the outer edge of the dough. This is to help seal the calzone.

I baked it in a Ninja Air Fryer at 375 in the bake mode—10 to 12 minutes.

Then I topped the calzone with vegan butter and Pizza Seasoning. I then baked it on air Fry for 2-3 minutes. I cooled it on a cooling rack.
